  If you are thinking about using this company to build you a deck, let me save you the time, DONT DO IT. When Adam Dunlop came out, I told him I needed the deck complete before 7/14. This was on 4/22. He said "no problem" "we have plenty of time" the contract was signed on 5/16. I had 3 other quotes, they were 10-12% more expensive then the other quotes, however the other companies told me they would not be able to get the job done by 7/14 because they had other projects booked. This was the main reason I selected this company. The 50% deposit check was cashed the day they received it, shortly after 5/16. From 5/16 to middle of June, I kept getting the run around "waiting for permits" On June 21st I went to the construction office, no permits on file. I called back to the office and explained. Adam finally called me after repeated left messages. He had the nerve to say " they must have lost it" really? Come on. Anyway, he went and dropped off the drawings on 6/22. Permits were reviewed and paid for on 7/5. I had multiple conversations with Adam explaining I need it done by 7/14 because we are going on vacation out of the country. He said it would only take 4 days. Building started on 7/10. It failed inspection because what they built did not match the drawings for the footings. Adam said this was no issue. Delayed the project by 2 days. 7/14 comes and the deck was no where's near completion. We go on vacation, Adam communicates over text messages it will be complete before we get back. We got back and it was still not done. I asked for the owner Evert to come out to speak about the issue. No response. I even provided a solution to make things right. They did not want to accept that. They came back with a proposal for money off a maintainece contract, really? The situation is bad and you want to sell me another service. My yard looks horrible because they did not level the dirt around the footings. I have not been able to use my pool for 4 weeks. This has been the worse experience I have ever dealt with from a contractor and I have been through plenty of projects such as new roofs, heater and air conditioning, bathroom remodel etc. The communication to the customer is horrible and inside the company is just as bad. I have tried phone, text, and email communication, with no luck. I have tried face to face, with no luck.Once again, if you are looking to do a deck, look else where. Do not waste your hard earned money with this company, they do not value you.

  What should have been a 2 or 3 day job, they stretched out 7 long weeks. We would call and call to see when they were going to come back, and never got an answer. We made it very clear that we wanted a transparent seal/protectant, so that we could still see the wood grain, but what they give is a very thin brittle opaque application that began chipping and cracking off after just 12 months.
